Account Clerk Technician

There are different "clerical" positions in the Finance Department that range from Account Clerk, Accounting Clerk, Account Technician, Accounting Technician, or even Accounting Clerk Technician. The Account Clerk Technician will perform a variety of duties from cashiering to data entry and bank reconciliations.

All of these positions are the entry-level position in Finance that are assigned to perform accounting tasks like Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Payroll (P/R), Utility Billing (U/B), Business Licensing (B/L), Cash Receipts (C/R), etc., however, some Cities will assign more complex accounting duties to the Account Clerk Technician.
